The room wasn't very clear on a daily basis. I found hair in one of the bedrooms and another long hair on the bathroom towels. One of them was even dirty.

The room was small but comfortable. The bed had a mattress topper that was nice and soft but kept slipping off to the side! The staff were amazing, all of them. So friendly and so helpful. We only stayed one night in transit, and didn't have the breakfast.

The staff were all lovely, full of smiles. The room had lovely modern details, each appreciated in turn, such as the comfortable seats and underfloor heating in the bathroom, which prevented the room from becoming damp, the lamps, and plug by bed, the incospicious fridge, the very useful clock and great poster of Denmark.

Rooms are clean and daily room cleaning are provided. Coffee , tea and kettle provided. Plugs are plentiful. Bed is soft , so for those who prefer firm bed, this is worth to take note. There is a free baggage room for those needing to leave their baggage before check in or even after checked out. Location is easy access by trains/ metro. Receptionists are helpful.

The hotel was centrally located. We could walk or take the Metro anywhere. There were lovely restaurants and plenty of sights to see nearby. The staff could not have been more helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

Hotel Ansgar has a wonderful breakfast buffet, and when the weather is good, you can sit outside in an enclosed courtyard. The location is great for taking public transportation; it is right around the corner from an entrance to the Metro and from the main railroad station in Copenhagen, and there are lots of buses nearby.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the Tivoli park and within a 20-minute walk to the city center. There is also a metro station very close to the hotel which is also convenient. We enjoyed the communal lobby as well as the heated floor in the bathroom. One particular lady from the staff in the evening shift was very kind and helpful.

Location and the lady day front reception staff and the night front reception staff both lovely and helpful. I feel sorry for them both they would be so much better suited in a nicer hotel. Bed was also very comfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast choices were many and, looking back now, I can say that the photos on the Booking.com site are no exaggeration of the choices. The hotel is very handy for the main station and the Metro (just 60m from the street exit in Halmtorvet / Stampesgade to the hotel). I was pleased with my choice of hotel. I was a bit nervous about booking a hotel in the centre and near the railway station in case it was noisy. It was surprisingly quite so I needn't have worried. (There was some late night street cleansing but closing the window kept its noise out).
